It the narrow appearance isn't helped by the 10 inches or so of body sticking out beyond the wheels on each side. I had forgotten how narrow the track was on those things.

Yea, that is why a lot of them ended up with wider tires on them than stock, it was relatively straight forward to do.

I had a ruff time finding a pic with narrow tires. Even that one looks like they were wider than the one this morning. Judging from the straight sides on the one I saw I am guessing they were actually bias ply tires so they look even thinner than radials.

Well the scoop could indeed pull the hood open when you max out at 80!
The one I saw today was bone stock and even looked to be all original including paint. Hard to tell of course. He was motoring along with 75 mph traffic with no issue.

The commute to work this morning was uneventful, so I did not crash. Yesterday was a little bit more dicey. I was commuting home and when I merged on the interstate everyone was merging at 40 while the traffic was actually moving, for once. I switch lanes as I find gaps, signaling and being cautious. On the second lane switch the person two lanes over switches without warning or signal it the spot I was trying to occupy. Luckily, I saw what they were doing was able to get in behind them without crashing.

This is the New Game + setting for driving. It's worse when you are neck and neck and neither of you can see the other's blinker but you both go for it at the same time.

If ever I get into a crash I feel like this will be the situation.

Drove my car to its final destination from work. Realized it was just a pile of bolt on parts. Started crying. Went to the crusher, did not crash.

There's a piece of highway in Tampa, called the Veteran's Expressway. At its southern end is a piece of road that might be the worst designed and most dangerous patch of paved death I have ever been on.

It's a combination of 65 MPH speed limit (actually there are people going straight 75 and 55 as they come and go, no one can actually go 65), left and right hand exits and on ramps (in equal measure), and a weird highway just off from it and the airport exit too. I had some truck look right in his rear view mirror at me, and switch lanes, no blinker, with no one in the left lane (he just did it to be a ****) as I was trying to pass (since he was in the left lane hogging it). I had to get heavy on the brakes with a another ****head in a truck right on my ass. This place has the worst drivers in the US and the worst roads. Designed by retarded monkeys with crayons.

Did not crash.
