I have a set of the TRD springs sitting over there in the corner in a box. I didn't think I needed camber bolts, but your comment sounds like they might put it right at the limit.

I actually have RSRs which are a but lower than the TRD. They do not have camber bolts but probably should. As you said they are right at the limit and are fine as long as you are OK with that. I would think the same applies to the TRD.

so are you saying since I have coilovers, I should have camber bolts and LCE as well? tried looking in the suspension forum but couldn't find anything. What's the rationale? I'm dropped about 1.2-1.5 inch (I think)

Coil overs usually have adjustment built right in. As long as you can get the alignment you want then all is good.

seems to be alright. But I don't have LCEs and was under the impression you need them if you want extra camber at the back, which I for sure would prefer not to have. However if it improves ride quality or anything else, then worth looking into maybe

I have a question that kind of fits in this thread. My 2013 FRS AT was built on 09/2012. I have heard something about bad seals and do not know anything more. Would someone please fill me in on what seals they are and if my car is affected from it?

I guess that was of direct injection seal

From what I understand they are talking about the direct injector (DI) seals.

Some have had them blow out under high rpm, quick shifting.

I doubt your car with an AT would be affected as frequently as a car with a MT.

I'd figure that if your car hasn't had any problems by now ...... it likely won't in the future.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if they cover the repair if something does happen?

Yeah it was DI seal failures. But it's a software problem not an actual flaw in the seal. The dealer can update your CALID to ZA1JB01D prevent this problem. I wouldn't be surprised if they already updated it during other visits to the dealer though.

I would think that unless your car was FI, and it was within the warranty period, any repairs to defective DI seals, would be covered.

I am at 45000km. The only problem I had is the squeaky clutch noise. They had to drop the tranny and grease the clutch fork to stop it. The TOB was fine in my case. It just funny to me how this problem happened this early and what it takes to fix it.

Mine's been squeaky the last 50K miles or so

... I just ignore it.
