I noticed that too. I wasn't sure if that was because it was on salmon or if it they just didn't have any. They didn't say anything about it.

There was a sports bar near me that had a 16oz T-Bone with all the fixings every Tuesday night for $10 a few years back. We used to go there every Tuesday night until Georgia changed its smoking laws and they could no longer have smoking/no smoking sections. The only way you can have a smoking section now is for the bar to be over 18 only and the whole place has to be smoking, or you had to have separate HVAC systems.

Now I have nothing against smokers (I did grow up in NC after all and am the only member of my family that didn't smoke) but unfortunately I can't breathe in a smoked filled room, literally so I had to give up my cheap steaks.

Although I was a smoker most of my life that's why I will always support no smoking in Bars and Restaurants. My Dad is Asthmatic and could never go out because of it.

Most sports bars are here as well. I can only think of 3 that have taken the steps to remain smoking. 2 went the over 18 only route and one has separated their dining room from the bar area with a separate HVAC system in each. Not sure it really makes business sense though on the second. It used to be a relatively popular Saturday and Sunday family lunch spot but not that the seating is reduced by half they have lost a lot of family clientele at those times of day.

I'm not asthmatic but I think I may have become overly sensitized to it growing up in a house of heavy smokers (including smoking in cars, etc). It used to not bother me at all but once I got away from it, I now can only tolerate it for a few minutes at a time then I have to get out.

I smoke and I can not stand being in a room full of smokers anymore. Some places like casinos that still allow smoking are not to bad since people are generally spread out and there is a heavy duty ventilation system but the days of hanging out in small smoke filled rooms are over.

I had a jet trip to Great Abaco Bahamas. We took a little ferry boat ride to one of the barrier islands and they had a $15 all you can eat pig roast. So yeah, like I have bar food and stuff sometimes...
