I saw a snowflake(a real one not a person) hit a guy's windshield next to me once at a light. he threw up his hands, shouted some cuss words, ran the light and ran his car straight into a tree on purpose. I think it's a similar reaction to turkeys looking up during the rain and drowning but on purpose.

Heh, also just had the sad realization that for the amount of rent I've paid for my current place the 5.5 years I've lived here I could buy your home and half of another.. in 1971 dollars.

I think I'm done ordering things online that aren't Amazon Prime

Bought some odds and ends from Newegg, mostly to manage some clutter from my computer cables, and desk speakers. I ordered the stuff on 24 December. The order hasn't moved from Richmond, BC since 27 Dec.

To pour salt into that wound, a few days ago, my girlfriend told me that I should get a wing for my car again, so naturally, I listened. The wing was shipped on 2 January from China, and is currently sitting in the same warehouse as the order I placed with Newegg. Can't wait to see how things pan out.

Well, I don't know if this would make you feel any better or not, but, that price of $33,000 was about two and a half years salary for this ol boy, back then.
