I don't get why everyone is up in arms about the future of the twins (or at least were up in arms). I reckon everyone who was ever going to buy one either decided to buy, or decided to pass. At this point, Toyota and Subaru need to decide whether to push it even further towards mainstream appeal, or just kill it off.

Personally, I'd rather see it get killed off, than become a super soft commuter, which does seem to be the way it's going.

I had a CHP SUV behind me earlier this morning for a bit. I think he may have followed me off the freeway, which is funny because I didn't know he was there and I took the long circle off-ramp (Montague exit going west) in 2nd gear around 6k rpm at around 45mph. But to be fair, the street it empties onto has a 45 limit anyway so... *shrug*
