I don't see anything "anal" about the exhaust at all.

Clearly you see things from a different "perspective".

How much more crap can they hang on the front end? LOL at the need to stick "GR" all over it. Presenting the new Greaty 6, just like the old 86, only more money.

Pardon my language, but fuck off with the one-trick pony bullshit. at this point you are paying more than STi money for no STi performance. You can buy an STi at that price point and throw in a set of nice suspension and recaros for the same money.

what? 36000 for starting STi, 2000 for a set of pss10 and 2000 for a pair of recaros?

Brand new for brand new, Stock for stock, STi will spank this car in 90% of the driving situations.

I don't care what anyone says about how great the 86 handling is, it's simply not worth 43K unless there's a v8 in there. the interior is still utter shit.

talk about boy ricer shit. Not trying to be a bench racer here, but kinda hard not to be when the numbers are so far apart.

Am I in bizzaro world?

No, Toyota is aiming at the same crowd that stands in line to "upgrade" an iPhone. Every one of the special editions have been anything but "special".

The stock 86 is not worth the money at 30K, which it will hit before long.

What it really needs of the lot is better brakes.

too many of you folks look at the 86 with american eyes...there are markets out there where customers would prefer to have a souped up car with a small engine than having to pay all the taxes for some other platform (with probably worse handling) with a big engine (ie japan)

Ugly plastic crap for ugly plastic crap sake is still ugly plastic crap. The aftermarket is more than capable of turning nice looking cars into turds, bummer they started at the factory.

A beautiful interior and I love the exterior until you get to the rear end of the car with its little butthole exhaust.

No, you're an American/Canadian trying to justify a Japan-only car in the US market, which makes zero sense.

He's not trying to justify the car - he's trying to figure out how Toyota can justify the ridiculous premium they charge over the base model for effectively zero performance gain. Or is the justification in it's exclusivity alone? If that's the case, then I've got a whole pile of marketing to sell someone..

Maybe it's just me but I never understood why the exhaust pipe in the middle is so small. Wouldn't it make sense to have the big one centered with two smaller on the outside?

Also, confused why a vehicle with absolutely no stock exhaust note has 3 exhaust exits.

I suspect the little one in the center is for the turbo waste gate ......

Now, wouldn't it look dumb if the smaller one was in one side ......
