After this mini ITX build I would not recommend it. While it's cool to have everything in a super small case, it was a pain in the ass to work in and I had to make some "sacrifices" to make everything fit. Wasn't able to use my 200mm front fan, and a few other annoyances.
I'm 100% the opposite. Recently did a node 202 to fit into a backpack since I fly once or twice a month. Absolutely loving mini itx. The only complaint is cable management is a huge PITA

Yeah, I mean it wasn't THAT bad, and the minimal cable management I did could be done even better, just got lazy. I probably could've used the 240 radiator and the 200mm fan if my motherboard didn't have a PS/2 port, but the fact that it did was blocking one of the hoses.

So far temps seem decent for the 7700k at stock settings. 30c idle 70c prime95 load.

Stock clock and whatever automatic voltage the motherboard is using. Haven't tweaked anything yet.

Hahah, that's how I was when I was ordering parts for this one. I had no real reason to upgrade, other than I wanted to put something new together.

To be honest it was the least pleasurable build I've ever done, I literally had no excitement or emotion during the process whatsoever. I'm basically dead inside.

However, now that it's done I've been enjoying tweaking Windows 10 and getting everything ready for gaming.

As a side note, this is the SSD I used and so far it's nice and fast: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._evo_nvme.html

Part of it is I'm just using my laptop now since I sold my desktop.
I used to have the desktop hooked up to my TV since my desk/office is upstairs and my wife wanted "together" time for some reason 🤔
But that was always a pain in the ass to get set up every time I wanted to do something on it and the TV had to be free...
The laptop isn't bad (i7, 1070, 16gb RAM) but it's just not the same...

Damn it forgot to put my storage on that build list as well. I am using that same drive as my system and common used games drive. Everything else is running on one or the other of my two Samsung 850evo 256gb drives.

Mechanical keyboard recommendations that have a full number pad? Dont need fancy lights and shit, shallow keys are kinda preferred but not necessary. Also looking for a good gaming mouse.

Gaming isnt a primary hobby so something for good value is what I am looking for, not top of the line $$$ stuff

Pretty much any chinese brand keyboard off Amazon will do the trick for you, until you figure out some more specific wants/needs.

I have a Logitech G502 mouse and I couldn't be any more in love with a mouse. It's a bit pricey, but is easily worth the money. I stepped up from a $25 mouse and couldn't believe the difference.

Also, hell yeah for hotel battlestations

Got any pics of the inside of your build? Specs? Apologies if I missed it earlier in the thread.

And hell yes about the G502, love mine!
