curb weight

Can someone confirm the curb weight of the north american BRZ Limited and Premium as listed in your respective owners manuals?

i noticed this as well, the manual somehow doesn't include this data, there's a page that says "weight, dimensions, etc" but it doesn't include weight. Also the door jam only shows the gvw 3682 which is insane, why do I care how much the car weighs with a maximum capacity??

Got my registration and it says 2776 lbs

When I signed my purchase though it said 2886 lbs...so weird...

Car feels light either way, hehehe

The internet ate my post.

The manual refers you to the sticker on the doorjamb. So my BRZ Limited with a Manual has a GVWR of 3682.

If you're looking for an actual weight, I believe a similarly equipped BRZ was weighed at 2715 with 1/4 tank and no driver. Premium BRZs and the FR-S should come in lighter. Automatic transmissions will increase the weight.

As per the brochure here - http://www.subaru.com/content/downlo...s/2013_BRZ.pdf

The curb weights are as follows:

Base curb weight
(manual/automatic)

BRZ Premium: 2,762 lbs/2,809 lbs
BRZ Limited: 2,776 lbs/2,822 lbs

Wonder if that is with a full tank of gas? It would be nice to be able to say that the car weighs under 3,000lbs with me in it, but I am 200lbs. + I don't have the car yet. lol

Those weights are supposed to be a "wet" weight. Essentially with full fluids, but no occupants or cargo.
