It generates far more power than it uses. Therefore the loss in power is null. Again, in not saying there aren't better choices but if you are not getting a supercharger because of rotating mass, you didn't want more power to begin with

Obviously. But that's a separate reason not to get it. Engine longevity has nothing to do with the increased rotating mass of a supercharger

Do I? Is the additional power more important to me than the avoidance of any noticeable increase in flywheel effect, especially that which is coupled though the accessory belt?

Nah, there's a Costco about half a mile from home. 91 costs what 87 does elsewhere so that's what gets put in

Well, I only use 1/4 of the throttle ........ that way, I stay out of the dreaded torque dip ......
