Are they being serious about this though? toyota has actually been thinking about building a race track just to test its cars on aye?

Not sure what you're sighing at... are you saying a race track should be straight?

no but REAL race tracks have a straight, and they have consecutive right turns and left turn not just always right left right left.. im not sure doing continuous fish tails would be any fun after a while

Im sorry but here are some PROPER race tracks, large and small, that cater for circuit, drift and most other forms of driving....

They got the Drift King promoting it; I doubt it's intended to be a race track but still proper for its intended purpose.

you can get anyone to promote it, doesnt mean Tsuchiya actually designed it. But still, pretty poor effort and creativity

I never said he designed it. They did a kickass job IMO. How else should a drift track look like and what better way to market it than with the legendary drift pioneer himself drifting the successor car to a legendary car which he also helped make legendary?

Tsukuba and Suzuka are kick arse tracks! love them. nice decent straights (not too long, not too short, Just about right!), followed by many types of corners.
