Therein lies the problem.

I am all about Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements lately. CF fits the bill.

We should get together and put these detailing supplies I just bought to use. Mini detailing meet at your place? I need a garage out of the sun to apply wax

For as much as you know about detailing, I'm surprised you don't own a DA polisher. Do you just prefer the additional control you get with doing it by hand?
Thanks! I made sure to get the FRS in the reflection. Lol

I would host, but my days off are different from everyone. Also, Vallejo jacked up the water rate by 16% because people have been conserving water (what kind of stupid reason is that!?).

I'm not sure why I never got one. Missed out on a Torq Torqx (by Chemical Guys) deal for a 100 bucks.

I washed yesterday, clay barred at midnight, and then spent 9 to like 4 doing paint correction and waxing. I wanted to do a second layer of wax, but ran out of time.

A few more pics:

Top is before (after wash though), bottom is after everything. Pic is of the propped up hood.

(I didn't bother washing the wheels and tires)

I have yet to order them. haha. I will be getting tires from TR so they can install and balance before shipping it out to me.

Also, I changed my mind about 15s. I'll be going with 16s.

Yeah, sounds like it would have to be a random middle of the week day off for people to roll over.

Might not be so bad regarding water if people wash their cars the day before, but yeah that water tax sucks.

I would host it at my place, but I don't have any garage/covered space so people would have to bring easy up tents. I do however have unlimited water that I don't pay for...

15s or 16s or 22s, I don't care at this point, just freaking order something and post up some wheel porn!

speaking of detailing... I was at the auto parts store last night looking for some simple glass cleaner of all things, and I was somewhat confused by the fact that the cleaners I saw there, were indicated to be used for BOTH cleaning your glass and your dashboard... is this a legit thing? The other car enthusiast friends there with me all thought the same thing, this sounds sketchy... but it seemed like there were at least 2 different brands offering this same thing, a cleaner for dash and glass ...

Probably an APC labeled just for glass and dash?

Unlimited water!? Nice.

How would one detail a car at another place if it were washed somewhere else? I suppose wipe the car down with QD spray before detailing???

Yeah, I was trying to think about that as I was making that post. I figured a quick dusting of QD or a light no rinse wash. Either way, kinda annoying.
