Update: I stopped by the dealership yesterday to pick up a loaner car and get a status update. They said they couldn't get a full long block assembly, so they ordered a short block, heads, cams, etc. and are going to build it there in the dealership. I still don't have a definite time frame, since they were still awaiting parts deliveries.

I wonder if I have oil leaks to look forward to in my future.

Also, that Series.Yellow sitting out in front of the showroom sure is a good looking car...

It all comes down to surface prep. The tiniest bit of contamination makes for a do-over.
