Maybe, but I've mainly had it in "natural/auto" for the 8 hour drive home and "dynamic/manual" all day on Sunday and no complaints from me.

As a previous owner of many German cars (Benz, BMW mostly) and a couple Italian cars (two Fiats), I can congratulate you on moving from a car with very expensive parts and fairly complex repairs to a car with very expensive parts and more frequent complex repairs. Enjoy!
![]() Yeah, I'm still jealous... that is a beautiful car, but I, too, would not own an AT sports car. I'm too much of a control freak. Barry |

Miss that car and it's absolutely insane reliability (it's had about 200k of incredibly aggressive usage). My least reliable car (ever) is definitely my BMW. My old K car (LeBaron) is a close second though.

I own two and have driven all three in the video. There really is no comparison here. Three totally different cars.
The Alfa is by far the most special and dramatic to drive. The Cayman is the most precise performance tool. The GT86 is a relative bargain, but not on the same level of the other two... But still good fun. You buy the GT86 if you want a really well balanced and fun car you can drive every day without worrying about it. You don't buy a GT86 if you want a high performance car and if you can afford it comfortably, you buy the Cayman. You don't buy the Alfa if you want something competitive and looking for the maximum performance for your dollar, you buy the Cayman. You buy the Alfa only if you want something that feels special to be in and drive. It won't win any objective performance competitions. It's a purely subjective appeal. I was shopping for a Cayman before I finally decided to get the Alfa, because a Cayman is really just a better GT86. It isn't something special.

Until I drove the GT4. Too bad I don't want to pay for one... I really really want to throw my brain out the window for a second and sell some stuff and say screw it but I just can't bring myself to do so.

Yup, I haven't driven a GT4, but I'd imagine it would be pretty great. But also twice the cost of the Alfa, haha.
Bonus

I am fucking jealous! That is the car I would have if budget would allow, but not worth selling assets over it for me. At least with my twin I dont sweat it over minor damage and I am not afraid to thrash it.
The 4C would be babied. And rightfully so, dont want to risk a CF tub. Let me know if you figure out how to open the hood. Probably a great place to smuggle narcotics! For that kinda money I might be inclined to hold off for the new Supra. Actually I might just wait until the Supra has been out a year or two and pick one up that isnt pristine so I can thrash it too!

![]() Also, the Supra will be a genuine boat compared to a 4C, lol.
