Power steering C1528 code

My car is track only car, and I'v had issue turning after lowering and use grip tires. In motorsport section people suggest raise the car, which I have tried, but still not working. Then during last event I found out that when you lower the car too much(and my tires are bigger than original), I see signs of the wheels rub the lower part of the strut tower(frame), which I think that's where this problem came from.

Somehow when my guys took my car to a car show, the power steering start malfunction randoms, pulled a code of C1528, steering motor angle sensor.

Does anyone knows what might cause this problem? I am guessing it's because when the wheel hit the frame and can't turning, but you force to turn the car, something wrong in the steering motor might damage, but this is random but not happen all the time.

Thanks

I don't know what exactly the code is for but the power steering may have just "lost home" or be out of position. Did you try pulling the battery too attempt to reset it? Otherwise might have to pull it apart and reposition the sensor(or something)
