You know something funny/ironic about that post, few years back this site went down for... 2 days and lil bit, when it was back up again, first PM I got was post like yours. I was like "Are you fcking kidding me?" & I think, I've banned his ass. Not because he PM the pointless thing, but after I've replied, he got pissed and going apeshit.

Sort of like the people that somehow think that a forum is a democracy and that the right to "free speech" is a thing that applies on it? I can't count how many times I saw people on a forum (this one and others) go into the whole "who are they to tell me what I can or can not say here" spiel. I always find it hilarious when people figure that they are somehow entitled on a forum.

I've had plenty of times when I couldn't get on the forum. Usually chalked it to device/browser problems. Latest one was long enough I figured it was an actual problem. I just kind of waited for it to be back up. I can't understand why anyone would get that mad for anything less than a week (because that might be bordering on laziness rather than simple problems)

I also never suspected you guys had much power over server problems.

The only time I rage over broken servers is on Xbox live, and that's because I paid for it and...well...because...because how dare they keep me from bashing and pwing n00bs?!?

so true... I think, that guy did go through that spiel... That's when I said, I had it enough, I don't need you in this forum and perma banned him.

A lot... I mean A LOT of member thinks that, mods have so much power... but reality is, we don't. Deleting the spam? Sure we'll make sure that, it'll be deleted. Forum down due to server went berserk? Can't help on that one.

Yeah, a week is too long. If anything goes wrong in the forum, I try to notify the admin that day or within 24hrs. After that, try to post in social media to make sure members know that server is down... but of course only handful read that

a lot of times i go on autotrader and search for fr-s just to look at the different cars of ours for sale...i do it more than visiting those "art sites" for "research"
