My old CSRT4 was actually a very good car. Ridiculously fun to drive and with mid 330 whp it was a fun little daily driver. So....yeah. A lot of owners give them a bad rap, but those cars are very robust for what they are.

I Still have my Neon SRT-4 that I purchased brand new in 2005. It's making a little over 400whp and is still a great car. People just love to hate on those cars because they are American/Dodge/just a neon/Chrysler junk/etc... Yet they have no real knowledge of them at all.

Not much different from the way people trash talk the twins for being slow lol

I don't have to make my BOV go off. It goes off about 95% of the time I shift just because it doesn't take much load to make it go off.

haha. Yeah I call mine slow all the time too. I am ok with it though. My turd Chrysler built Neon keeps me happy when I have the need for speed

No dude, this was intentional. It was a 25 mph road and he was already at a cruising speed. It makes me feel good I guess when other cars see me and feel like they have something to prove or w/e.

Not prove literally, but it's like forcing an acknowledgment or something. I see the same type of thing with other cars too. Ricer flyby, revving, using the shoulder to pass just so I can see their car pass me. Then there are others in cool and fast cars that do none of this, or they just throw a flash or nod. I guess some are just more obnoxious than others.

Happened 5 minutes ago lol just got home.

Had a 2015+ Mustang GT350 try and race me.
He flew on my ass and then lines up and kept reving, I guess he didn't like that I wasn't giving him any attention let alone care for his car lol
It was an older guy in his car lol probably mid life crisis and wife left him because he has a small **** so he makes up for it with a bigger engine
He cut in front of me and then fckin let off the gas so I had to slow down so i dont hit him.

Congrats your V8 can beat a NA 4 banger and also cost a little over double of what our car costs.....
Try that against a Supra or a GTR, or an Evo/STi

a coworker at my previous job bought a 2013 BMW M5 and he said one day a 5.0 mustang pulled up next to him at a red light and wanted to race him....my coworker let the mustang have a head start off the line and then smoked him haha

haha those mustang drivers sure are really obnoxious, especially here in texas. they buy those 5.0's and they they rule streets. like chill bro i got a stock 4banger haha

Story from a few months back. on my way home and a genesis pulled up right next to me at a red light reving his engine. I know hes packing more power than i do and its stupid for me to even bother racing him. Further more, there are a few more lights maybe every 100 yards down the road so it'll be pointless even if i do have the power and felt like indulge this asshat. The moment the light turned green he decided to launch, but only to be stopped by the next set of lights. I slowly rolled up next to him again, and not really minding his obnoxiously loud exhaust as he continue to rev at me.

At this point, my radar starts to go off reading Ka band and the signal is slowly getting stronger. Light turned green, he launched again, only to be stopped again on the next light. I knew a cop is close by and can definitely hear his exhaust, so i pulled up next to him again, swirling my finger without looking at him, he doesn't seem to get the message. The Ka band signal gets stronger and a few more cars catches up behind us stopping at the light. Finally, the light turns green and as expected, off he goes while I took off at my usual pace. All the sudden the headlight that was right behind me swerved around to the lane he was in, launching hard. As he drove by me, i spotted the giant word on the side of the car "Sheriff". He turned on his cherry and went after the guy. about 1/8 mile down the road, i see the sheriff and the genesis pulled over. I was laughing my ass off as i drove by.

This is funny. Did the revs sound like a v6? I wonder if it was a 2.0 or 3.8 Genesis. I think you woud have had a chance the 2.0 with the right driver skills, since they weight more too.

Had a Genesis like my 2nd month owning the car give me a big thumbs down while turning left in front of me. I was like "why are you acting like you're one of the fastest cars out there, going around giving people the thumbs down" -_-
