Is there a TLDR version of the differences between the types of headers? I noticed how there are like 6+ different types of headers on CSG's site

B = slip fit version designed to reduce production time and cost, while A style headers were being finished. B headers are nearly identical in performance, but are not as smooth as the A internally, and are being phased out. 150/250/350 = merge collector type. 350 has the fattest overall powerband, and has proven to also be the most popular. A/350 is what CSG originally tested. The CS/400 is a B style construction with even more low end power. We have an A/400 final prototype that is currently at the ceramic coater, which will be validated, and then that will also be production ready... TL;DR: buy the A/350. |

These are the test results on @Jmonty 's JRSC C38 car. THere are 3 graphs on one plot, so pay attention! Torque is left, hp is right graph.
Dashed blue line: stock exhaust and his previous custom header. Dotted blue line: stock exhaust and the Ace 4-2-1 header. As you can see, lots of low end gains (particularly below 2500 rpm and from 3200 to 4200 rpm). Solid green: Perrin 3" exhaust with the Ace header. As expected, the exhaust did basically nothing (not unusual on an S/C car).
