Worse than that, they absolutley seem to provide no indication they are going to kick out. It strikes me as pretty sudden. I'm only on header/tune and trying to drive in anything but perfect conditions is a brutal exercise. Washington rain, etc. I got mine as a band-aid since I'd spent a healthy sum of money on wheels/suspension but I regret it almost every day haha. Drive safe.

I haven't had much rain experience yet, as all the rain we have got so far has brought hail, so in the garage it goes. I bought mine as a Band-aid as well till the RS-R was available again, but it looks as though they are getting rid of existing stock before releasing the RS-RR in America. Trying to find a source for the new RS-RR is proving to be difficult.

She got a proper wash and some Ammo Creme Wax for Cars and Coffee the next day. Plans are to get a good paint correction, and possibly a C-Quarts application.

Had some free time, so a friend helped me pull the rotors, clean the rust off, and paint them. He left the black paint at my house, so Silver it was.

Checking on Friends dogs as they were out of town, only to find they have a terrible driveway...

There's a new Kumho tire that seems like it might be pretty good...have you thought about checking it out? Ecsta PS91. At least I think its new...there's a new Firestone performance tire. Firehawk Indy 500. Both look pretty decent and at a fair price.

Trying to figure out the next step to take with the car. With a wedding in the works, fund are limited. I have probably one more semi-large purchase before I need to buckle down and toss the money into the wedding fund. Flex-Fuel for the turbo kit using OFT is getting super close to being released. If it is under $5-600 I may jump on it. Other options are a Wing APR GTC-200 (trying to find used), or some bushings/braces/hood vents.

Also looking into a boost controller for when the Flex-Fuel Kit become available. I have thought about just running a MBC. Simple enough. or Running a EBC. I have narrowed it down between the GFB G-Force II and the EBoost Street. Both are around the same price, and have similar features. Anyone running either of these?

New goodies coming in as a present from my grandpa:

I would have rather ran the Driveway Labs, but they are pre-order only, and I needed a way to cover the vents from rain due to the turbo sitting directly under the vent. Excited nonetheless

Just purchased a 6 piston caliper that I think will work awesome (Should fit STI Rotors). I am in talks with my friend that is a machinist to make the brackets. If they work well, we may make the brackets available. If these prove to work, I will probably step up to a 350mm Rotor. This should all be had for less than the wilwood kit I was putting together.

Did you have to get rid of your crashbeam when you put on the spd turbo? I'm looking to get it, but not sure if I want to get rid of my crashbeam..

I got rid of mine long before I went turbo. There are a lot of aftermarket solutions for crash beam replacement.

edit: A little more info on the brakes coming in. I made a mistake in some of my research and the caliper I have coming in has too much piston area. Unfortunately they are the cheaper of the two options. So I am going to have to buy the calipers I need at a later date (Got to make sure I have the extra funds for the OFT Flex-Fuel).

OEM Piston Area: ~11,503mm2

STI Brembo: ~11,668mm2

6 Piston Brembo: ~12,233mm2 (Ordered)

6 Piston Brembo: ~10,990mm2 (Need)

6 Piston Wilwood: ~10,449mm2 (Part of previous brake plans - Used on Wilwood kits currently sold for FRS/BRZ)

4 Piston Wilwood: ~10.649mm2 (Currently Running- Used on Wilwood kits currently sold for FRS/BRZ)

8 Piston Brembo: ~11,354mm2 (Really Want)

I did run a set of wilwood calipers with a Piston Area of 12,408mm2 for a long while (Originally pictured wilwoods at beginning of build thread) due to part number error on the link I bought the Brackets from. So I should be able to use the 17z caliper as a mock up (from what I can find the two calipers I am looking at mount the same).
