huh - i've gotten that a couple of times too from friends. is yours black or grey?

Where i live, twins are pretty common, with FR-S's being 2-3 times more common than BRZs. In the 3 years i've owned the car, i don't think i've had more than a couple of comments, as there are a LOT of really nice cars in the area and a BRZ would be at the cheaper end of the 'nice car' list. they drive through my area (north redondo beach) to get to the richer/nicer area (manhattan beach) LOL. BMW's, teslas, audi's, a ton of porsches, the occasional ferrari and quite a few maserati's. if anyone else lives in the south bay, they can corroborate my story. a twin barely turns heads unless it's a fellow enthusiast and it's modified.

I don't think any of mine were haters. They were mostly family members that liked the car.

I meant guys on the forum hate them. No stranger or family member has ever disliked the wheels. They meant it when they said "Nice wheel" they were not being sarcastic.

Oh! Okay, I see what you meant by here. The forums. Yes. I was shocked the first time someone told me they liked the wheels because I had seen nothing but hate for them here from day one.

I keep seeing ones I like but know perfectly well that since I do like the stock ones I will never actually change. Makes me unique at meets!

Not really "Odd", more like " Great" A guy at a gas station asked if my firestorm Fr-s was the new smaller Ferrari, lol. Put a smile on my face and kinda made me want to de-bage, lol.

(We have them all over here as the Nissan plant leases them to their employees) I laughed and said not without dumping some serious cash into this car would it even keep up with a GT-R. He then asked me if he could buy it with his tax return, I laughed and promptly rolled up my windows to end the conversation.
There's a ton in Franklin too, the employee leases on GTRs are only 550/mo and its for 6 months. I got tired of seeing them.

Mine is grey with everything blacked out..

Yeah I love to casual nod of the head from one owner to another.

I was walking toward my car in a parking lot when one of two females, both about 19ish, said "you've got a MINT car. It's MINT". It was nice but they are out of my "half age plus seven" formula so I just said "thanks" and left it at that.
