I dont think a 55 gallon drum will suffice, maybe two 55 gallon drums...

You sure you can't take the Camry?

If I'm ever on a plane and the plane crashes into the ocean, I will reach for a lime. Saved by the buoyancy of citrus!

So far its just cloths, swim trunks, tent (possibility so save on hotels), candy, hiking shoes, emergency cash, water.

What else should I be packing. Trips will be random to where ever the winds of fate carry me. Some stops might be urban, other rural so I need to be prepared for whatever I might encounter.

IDK what kind of random trips you're doing, but usually, I don't carry much. Most of the stuff, you can guy it at place.

Major one, I'll bring battery pack for my phone & phone. Rest, I'll grab whatever I feel like it.

A gun? Or mace/stun gun/tazer. Maybe some soap. Hand lotion and tissues, you won't be needing those condoms. Some microfiber towels and detailing spray/waterless wash. A pillow/blanket. A life straw.

Oh shit, I messed that quote up something fierce. He was talking about boats and skiing without a life jacket, not planes. I have failed Mitch Hedberg.

Any of you guys think that the posters for the new Top Gear look like a diversity poster you'd find in your company breakroom?
