Welcome to Norcal! I'm also a native from Chicago. Home of extreme weather and better food. Do you know G_Ride? He was originally from the Bay Area and now runs in autoX events in Chicago. The next SCCA event is April 3th at Marina Airport in Marina CA. We also have the National Tour and Pro Solo coming next month so April is going to be stacked!

You're only going up against a Subaru WRX STI that used to have windows, interior, with an air-filter that replaced the front highlight and a Porsche GT3.

It's very confusing I know.

Huh, the way I read it if you don't pick X T2 N2 or whatever you're basically in a casual class. Blah should just email the organizers, was hoping to get some 86 guidance though.

In the end it's all seat time. And I guess gaming it so you don't have to be up at 6am on a Sunday, but I don't care much for that, it'll be nice to be gone by 2.

Most of us are either in CS or STX, both of which are quite competitive.

Re-read it, the phrasing is weird. The way I'm reading it now is that X/T2 is for the guys running in empty classes like that GT3, STI, a prepared Impreza, not many people build for Street Prepared anymore, they'd rather compete against each other on PAX for trophy than be in a class of one or two. Not a problem for the bandwagoners in the more popular classes.

Re-classifying was easy.

Yeah I really disappointed myself. I coned away fast runs and made a lot of mistakes. I didn't drive anywhere near my potential. I could have been just outside the trophy spots because I was never gonna beat Jonathan, Max, or Derrick. I did better on Sunday but still made mistakes.

That said I learned a lot and it was a super fun and challenging course.

The really sad part is I can't even redeem myself at the Crows Tour because I'll be in Europe. But at least on that Sunday I'll be driving the Nurburgring!
