PSA: Please stop using the word "void" when talking about warranty and modifications

Many times, people come on here and ask "what mods will void my warranty" like they will lose out on something if they decide to add something to the car.

As long as you add the caveat: If you put a "tune" on it, roll over and expose your belly because you might not have "voided" your warranty, but you sure as hell FUBARed "fu<ked up beyond all recognition" your warranty on anything engine related (ASSUMING the dealer finds out)

But of course dont forget that the courts will save you if the dealer tries to pull anything.
