Borla headers (witch I don't really like so I may swap them out) overpipe was built by a local shop. Motiv test pipe and a modified TRD catback. I will try to get a video for the build thread

Im still under warranty, so I've just got the TRD exhaust.

Haha yeah I voided my warranty before 1000km's first 100km's TRD intake and cat back went on, then the motiv test pipe and a tune came like right after then maybe 250km's later headers went on.

TRD catback has a smaller then stock diameter pipe right before the resonator. I had that opened up as I get enough back pressure from the muffler haha

Yeah.. I've slowly tried to build a new exhaust set up for my car. I currently have basically no name brand exhaust that was cheap and want to try and refine the tone a bit. Lots of research later and I have like 8 different setups in mind >.<

LOL Well what are you looking to do/get with your exhaust? Do you want a quite DD with a nice tone, loud as F look at me attention?

When I offer people help picking exhaust I get them to pick a category then I make some suggestions. First is the street setup, then semi race (this is the route I went with), and then a full race setup. Which one are you looking for?

Well I would want it to be somewhat quiet at cold start.. Thats my biggest concern because my neighbors are assholes and always complain about my exhaust being too loud in the morning.

Oh thats easy. You can fix that with a tune. I had mine adjusted a little to advance timing slightly for the cold start (it is stupid retarded on cold starts thats why it is so loud at even just 2000rpm) and it helped me get a slightly better tone on cold starts haha!! I like keeping the cold start idle as I let my car warm up 5-10 minutes before I drive it (I got a remote start ) and I believe the slightly higher idle helps warm it up. #CanadaProblems

So far they've complained about every car I've had...

my 94 300zx TT- Full headers, catless downpipes, unresonated front pipes, magnaflow exhaust. (The Z never got started up earlier than 9am so it wasn't a huge deal) BTW this car is by far one of the loudest cars I've heard. It was louder than harley's and they would feel insecure about it because when I would cruise by they used to rev their shit at me

2003 WRX - Mostly stock but with Blitz Nur Spec-R catback

Current FRS - AP Racing overpipe/front pipe combo catless but resonated 2.5in, with J2 catback 2.75in dual tip with helmoltz resonators

I haven't gotten anything DIRECTLY to me as of yet. But they have complained about it to my brother because they were taking him to school for a bit.

WTF! I want a remote start.... I keep my car in the garage so I would have to open it and then start it lol. My normal routine is around 6:25 or 6:30 is when I'd start the car and just back it out of the garage so it's not echoing in there. I go back inside, let it idle, finish some stuff (normally pack my lunch for the day etc.) then go back to it 5 mins later. Keeping it in the garage helps with the cold starts because it's not just deficating ears at 2-2.5k rpm's.

@MisterSheep I had to ask because I hear these stories a lot. Just like your experience, they never come up to you and let you know. They just hate you in secret. HAHA

Lol. Yeah, I don't really care if they hate me in secret but it's just a car. At the same time I still want to try and tune out the cold starts because I don't feel like waking my whole family up when I start the car.
