Fog light Help!

Whats up guys, recently got a set of the winjet fog lights and need some help or advice regarding the wiring. I'm pretty sure getting the bezels and the fog light housing installed wont be too much of a problem, but the wiring on the other hand will pose an issue for me. I have no prior experience wiring, and any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

- Justin

EDIT: Also forgot to include that I plan on using the ignition wire to power the foglights

It's pretty straight forward. Positive and a negative.

Hard part is figuring out HOW you want to wire it up. Do you want it on when headlights are on? On it's separate switch?

If you want an OEM look check out this DIY here using the BRZ's headlight stock.

Plenty of threads if you search around to get you an idea.

Gist of any wiring application is this.

Fog lights <------- Switch <---Fuse <----- Power Source.

You can wire the power source to anything that provides enough power. Such as another light source, 12v outlets or in this case, hes using the battery.

The fuse is an insurance so it doesn't fry your stuff if things go wrong, the fuse will be the first to pop and when it does the contacts won't connect so the electricity won't "complete" or go through.

The switch is a switch. The off position cuts off the flow of electricity and the on position completes it so the power can flow.

So essentially what he's doing is drawing the power from the battery. As for the ground, he connected it to the existing connector in the ignition. This is so he has the indicator light up on his dash board. If you want to go around that you can connect it to any ground or negative wire/bare steel you want.
