Glines Canyon Dam was the final dam removed from the Elwha river in the WA Olympics.
There's a newish viewing area at the top so you can look straight down the rock slot canyon where the dam used to be.

Hurricane Ridge up above Port Angeles WA.
The clouds have finally parted and I was able to get some pictures up there.
South and then East.

Richards Lake, Carrollton, GA

Locally this is called "Southwire Lake" because it is surrounded by Southwire manufacturing plants and corporate offices. Also, in the background of this shot behind the trees off the nose of the FR-S is the home of the Southwire founding family. You can see their boathouse there.

If you don't know SouthWire, you most likely use their product in the US. Their wire provides electricity and other utilities to about 1 of every 3 homes in the US.

Barwick-Layfayette Airport (9A5) in Layfayette, Georgia. This was taken tarmac side of the terminal building. Nice little airport. Drove there today to look at a C172 that was for sale.

There was absolutely no one around, and no planes in sight so I was very tempted to take speed run down the 5300ft long taxiway. Common sense got the better of me though.
