FT-86 in Gran Turismo 5

What do you mean by can't keep your ft on the track? understeer? oversteer? what tires do you use? How's your suspension setup? We might able to help setup your suspensions to fix that problem.

Also it's not like, we're the fastest FT86c drive (well maybe Dragon w G's). I'm having hard time tuning G's FT86c, so you're not the only one w having problem keeping FT86c in the track and throttle control. We usually have fun race, so join!

Guess I'll power up the ol box tomorrow after work, should be 6-8pm EST, not sure what that is for u guys, its oversteer tho, I'm getting the hang of it (early braking)entering corners tho I normally have to brake early as to not end up having the rear slip out on me.

Which tires? Sports or Racing? If it is Racing tires then try changing the toe angle or camber, that might help out w oversteering. If it is Sports, work round anti-roll and spring rate. That should help out to setup the way you want.

Anyway itchi your setup kicks arse, I just softened the front up a little I take corners too fast and it was hopping lol. Don't have enough money fo the full mods but I'm running 58 on tsukuba, but the hairpin I take very bad. Love cape ring cus you get air haha. Tried taking undercarriage shots to find it was fully black.. If the production version us ANYTHING like the concept performance wise.. WOW. Haven't got the g yet, been playing new Vegas too much, love blowing shit up too much
Btw myn is Matt black of all colours that's what I was after lol

im up for it though i'll prob b at the back of the pack hvnt tuned the ft up too much only getting 1:00 at the moment at tsukuba but thats on sports hard maybe i'll put some racing soft and see how i go.

I'm glad my setup helping. It setup as my style of driving, so you can change here & there to tune the way you like.

My bad, I wrote that through phone & auto fix to that and I didn't notice til later

Dang, I shouldn't told you my setup in the race. Now, you're smoking me in all the corners now. O'well, I kinda have good setup for my FT86c, now just need lil bit more adjusting on damper/springs and we should have good race.

Kudo's to you though man, thanks for pointing out I had to soft of a rear. Definitely noticed a difference right away. Rear stays planted now, allowing me to go faster. It's cool to see where the two cars differ at on the Deep Forest. I'm sure there is some tweaking to be had still.

Get your practice in, next time it's NurBurg..."light damage though"...LOL.

I'll post full specs on the Gsport next time I get back on and then right them down.
