I could get my daughter in the back seat. I'd have stuck with out 4Runner, Prius, MINI fleet had she not fit.

My list was this:
Wanted a competitive autocross car Prefer light weight RWD Have a 2 year old That basically narrowed it down to the FR-S/BRZ or RX8. Then: Need to drive 30k miles per year That ruled out the RX8. The the TRD sway bars and lowering springs were ruled legal for the FRS for C Street, and that ruled out the BRZ. So I have an FR-S. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk |

I was looking for something fun, new and relatively cheap.
It was slighly more expensive than I thought it would be, but it's fully loaded with options here in Europe (c.c., fog lights, leather...). |

I was looking for my replacement DD corolla. Wanted something reliable, fun, lightweight, and of course good looks.
I drove both the fiesta st and the frs. the fiesta didn't live up to the hype for me. As soon as i got in the frs i new it was the one. driving it and feeling that balance thru corners and hint of oversteer just sealed the deal. |

Reasons:
Sheer amount of aftermarket options is like freakin' toys-r-us Gorgeous body - look at those fangs on the FR-S! RWD - always had FWD so this was nice Small - I'm small, so I want something that didn't feel like a tank Oh yeah, insurance was reasonable, reliability was good, and safety was well rated

Internet Hi 5! I have no plans on marriage or kids for the foreseeable future. Unless that special someone comes along who is also a car gal. Or at least is somewhat of a car gal.

I already had my fast/fun/loud car and needed something that I could use for work that got more than 12mpg and something I could go through drive throughs with and still have the people on the other end hear me and the people behind me could order without my engine drowning them out.
It looks really good, the color options are great (they aren't just stuck with silver/white), seats are nice, it's rear wheel drive and the boxer engine sounds pretty. It was a done deal after I test drove it. The only other car I would have bought if I didn't end up with one of the twins would have been a special ordered Focus ST ST3.

New guy comes on the forum " Yo dog this car is so fucking ill but that torque dip yo is wack!" Forum members " get a header and a tune and it will get rid of it." New guy browses the forum/internet and finds 50 different header brands. Comes back to forum and asks "which header is best?" Forum members- Option 1: "SEARCH GTFO!" Option 2: "Dude my butt dyno confirmed that header y is better than x. I know this because of the dyno sheet the vendor provided showed y had 2hp more than x dog." Option 3: get Nameless man, no JDL, no Ptuning, no Ace ect... Well should I get UEL, or EL, and then there is the anti reversion header I have been hearing so much about... EL is best for top end gains! nuh uh I saw a dyno showing and UEL was better plus you get the SUBI brumble though! But antireversion man! works on motorcycles dog! New guy goes and gets topspeed header from ebay. Bitches that his car is still slow. Repeats same process with turbo kits as he did with headers to get more power. Gets kit installed- Option 1: blows engine pushing 400hp on a high compression NA motor Option 2: Sells car because it is "still not fast enough" and buys a mustang. Then either leaves the forum, or goes on and bashes the owners and tells them how crappy the 86 is.
