Toyota paid some big bucks to poliphony/sony, The FT-86 has the same expousure on GT-5 that the WRX/EVO had on the GT-2, if the car drives as nice in real life it is going to be a big hit.

Either that, or the fact that GT5's maker is a huge Nissan fan....
The same thing happened in a lot of the GT's, a heap more Nissan's than some of the other major brands...

True, Nissan is King in GT-5, but compared to Mitsubishi's expousure on previous GTs, Toyota does have a lot prenominance this time around, IMHO.
...And back on subject, If the FT-86 does come badge as SCION, my first mod will be the RED Toyota badges on the FT-86 Concept '10 |

I don't think Toyota really paid them much. If anything they might have waived licensing fees?
I say because the creators and Toyota have been working together a lot lately. In fact, the head guy at Polyphony raced for Toyota at the 24hrs of the nurburgring in a Lexus IS F. |

Marketing is the key work here, everyone realizes how important GT is in terms of image, most of US in this side of the planet only knew the GT-Rs, EVÓs and STIs by driving them on GT; Toyota (or SCION, LOL) is making sure we get excited before the actual product actually arrives, and guess what? It worked with me, I am even more anxious after driving the two concepts on GT-5

So if the FRS does release as a Scion, will there be any dealer mark ups or will there be one set price? It would be nice not to have to haggle dealers on the price.

One good thing about SCION way of doing bussiness is the fact that they keep a price standard, and leave you to decide on the options, so no mark ups SHOULD occur if SCION is the venue for the launch on this part of the planet.

That would be nice. I wouldn't want a whole bunch of options anyway.
