Like others, outward visibility is the primary reason I didn't even bother to start the engine on the current Camaro, let alone bother with a test drive. If they fix that and make it smaller and lighter.. hmmm
Too bad they didn't. Focus RS or M2... hmm..

I'll never own a modern VAG product. Shitty materials that fall apart way to quickly and retarded engineering decisions (shockingly worst than BMW!).

To all the people complaining heavily about the rear visibility of the camaro, drive an X6 then get back to me. Trust me it's far from the worst. Also, I think they're hinting at something here.... You're driving a Camaro, why on earth would you need to see out the rear (it's a joke, don't stab me).

The beltline of the new Camaro does seem really high, but it's one of those things where I need to drive it to see how I feel. For now, I'm just glad Chevy hit on the other areas (weight, size, interior). And re-designed the gauge cluster.

Whether you think the car is horrible or not is your own opinion, but they have sold remarkably well. They've lost a lot of sales in 2015 to the new-generation Mustang, which is understandable until the new-generation Camaro comes out. Then it will probably even back out. Rented a Charger once, and regretted it so badly. BRZ was in for repairs and I thought I might enjoy renting what I thought was a classic muscle car. Had no muscle and no suspension worthy enough for hairpins. Wallowing pig. Been in the 5th Gen Camaro SS. Great car. This one looks like it'll be even better. The sad thing is that I know I won't be getting it. I'm keeping the BRZ, and our next car will have to be an economical (not necessarily economy) 4dr sedan or 5dr hatch for the wife. And she wants the new Malibu hybrid, an Altima, a CX-5, or something similar.
