I would hold out at this point anyway. Not to get a 16 but to get a better price on a new 15 or even a 14 since their value will take a shit kicking when the 16s hit the lots.

I'm hoping there will be a slight interior upgrade. I want the frs but the inside is so cheap, and seats are pretty crappy.
I want the brz premium cause the seats are better but the console is still crap.
the limited has the leather seats which are nice but I don't want a spoiler or push button start. LOL

2016 Available at dealers ?
Thanks, that's helpful... so if we go by prior history...

In odd years, they are available in June, and even years they are available in September

I feel the same way. I have enough for a down payment and a few months worth of well... payments but as the saying goes "great things come to those who wait."

That saying doesn't apply to those who are waiting for a turbo though :P

Well, the original plan is to pay outright. That would involve waiting until March-April of next year though. However, being that I am only 23 and people have been telling me to build my credit, I may take out a small loan (5 grand) and pay the rest with cash. That way, I could the car by the end of the year, depending on how much more I am willing to sacrifice in terms of monthly spendings.

I wouldn't pay outright if you can get like .99% financing

my original plan was to put $10 000 as a downpayment. but if I could get 0.99% I might just finance it all and invest the money I was gonna put down and buy dividend stocks. or maybe something safer to guarantee returns

You caught my attention. I'll see where my feelings (and cash pool) are around end of summer - mid fall. If I cannot absolutely wait any longer, I'll jump the gun unless someone with years of wisdom above mine convinces me otherwise.

Damned responsible young guys actually thinking this through in a rational manner and doing the right things.
You guys are destroying all our fun!
