After many avoids my sti lip is finally scrapped
Yesterday i went to buy some grocery, while entering a parking spot there was a broken parking bump which i did not see. I heard my front end scraping and i freaked out and step out of the car and my sti front lip scrapped on the right side. That was the only thing that scraped the bumper was fine....
A friend that does body shop says it can be fix with touch up paint to make less noticeable for $50. He said to make it 100% clean the entire lip needs to be repainted. I dont think it will be worth spending money repainting the entire lip since i know it will continue to scrape. Anybody familiar on touch up the sti lip, it is black color non glossy in plastic...

Agree with your body shop friend - just touch it up as it'll just get scraped up again eventually.
If it happens enough, just swap it out for an STI replica. They're cheap enough that you can replace the whole damned thing cheaper than it would cost to paint the STI. |

invest in spray paint that's close to that in color, youll probably have to re-spray it pretty often.

There's really no touch up for that, just keep your money. They are easily replaceable. Every scrape you get will keep you more aware for future bumps.
I think I scraped mine on the first day lol. It sucks, but these things take a beating and it'll do its job by protecting your bumper.

I just want it to be less noticeable. The body shop guy says that they can use a non glossy touch up paint to 'make it look better', And yes i know i just have to be more careful |

Should i just plasti dip the affected area? or do i need to plasti dip the entire lip? I don't want to go through the hassle of taking the lip out.
