He looked confused by the end of it.

Was it an older model stang?

Pulled up to a stop light, I was in the right lane, and then an early 2000's Impala pulled up beside me. Younger guy (around 20, 21) with a car full of his bros. He kept looking over at me, until the light turned green. I of course didn't try to race him, since the police are everywhere in my city. He spun his tires and peeled out, while I lightly applied the gas. Caught up to him at the next red light, gave him a thumbs up and he got a sour look on his face and peeled off again. Made me chuckle.

Not sure why people do this, although I remember being 16 or 17 years old and trying to pull on people in my dad's Camry. The only people who reacted had equally silly cars. Dudes driving Porsche's, Beemer's, etc. have nothing to prove, unless of course they were driving daddy's car as well.

5th gen. Uncertain of the details other than he was a douchebag driving recklessly and got pulled over by the Federales subsequently later down the road.

I finally have a story to contribute to this thread. I was driving home and there's a junction that I take which is a medium tight turn that I usually take at a decent speed. Mid corner I notice I passed a blacked out Porsche 997 GT3.

I guess he didn't take kindly on me showing him up on that corner and he proceeded to ride my ass until I moved over for him, after which he blew past me.

Pick on someone your own size, dude.

I reved this infinity with a guy and his gf at a green for just 100m till i hit 30 then he got pissed and passed me at 50 only to slam breaks at next red light... My lane had a left turn signal so I just passed him...

If you're the one who revved him, wouldn't that make you the "come race bro" bro?

I love when douchecanoes in SUVs or bro-trucks tailgate me getting onto the highway. I tend to gradually increase speed as the radius in the ramp decreases - fun to watch them realize they're in too deep and have to brake.

I drive my FR-S and people in Mustangs try to get some, I drive my Mustang and imports want some. It's just people. No sense is trying to appease them eaither, I always just carry on.

There was one situation in my Mustang where I was passing someone that was doing about 55 and I was doing 65 on the interstate (limit was 60). As I'm going around him he starts matching my speed and I'm not far from my exit so I just want to get over. (He's in a C5 Corvette) I slow down to try and get behind him and he slows down with me, I give it a little gas to speed up and go around and he keeps matching me. It's making me angry that all I want to do is get over to my exit. It infuriated me enough that I finally gave him what he wanted and shut his ass down. Thats pretty much the only time I've actually opened it up for someone on the road.

You're so right. I hate it when that happens.
I only have family sedans try to mess with me like that. I don't race them tho.

Had a pretty interesting encounter with fart can equipped Dodge Stratus last Friday.

It was the tail end of a date, and we were just sitting in my car talking outside of her place. The car is on, so we can run the heat, but I've got my lights off. Because of the heat the windows were fogged up, so nobody would have been able to see into the car. As we're sitting there this beige Stratus pulls up next to us. It sits there for a minute and then starts revving its engine, letting that fart can howl (sounded absolutely terrible). I don't bite, because it's a first date and I'm not 17 any more. So the Stratus peels out and flies off down the street in the neighborhood. About 15 minutes later he comes buy and does the exact same thing, and then again another 30 minutes or so after that. I'm guessing some high school kids had just gotten out of seeing Fast 7 and were feeling ricey... er, racey. Either way, it was just stupid. I laughed.
