I still want those headlights and taillights.

Too bad they'd cost like a grand for each.

And seriously people need to stop reposting what someone posted like four posts above them. Sure, skip all the pages but at least read the page youre posting on >_>

Headlights and taillights will come with the STI when it comes out. No need to buy them separately. The other site said there would only be 3500 put into production though...

Sorry if I missed it, but what other site? Someones claiming this is going into production? Sources?

Everything Ive read has given me the impression this more of a "hey, look what we could do" kind of thing.

Well TBH I have no idea what is actually going to come out until Subaru makes a press release. As far as I can tell this is just a marketing prop.

And I'd buy them separately or just not get them at all since I dont plan on trading in my current BRZ lol.

Most of us laugh at ourselves as well. It is funny how many people seem to hate the car they own and can't wait to get rid of it for the latest shiny.

I'm one of them. I enjoy the FA20dit, despite its faults (torque dip, premium fuel requirements with a not so premium HP output).

But even if its an EJ20, i'll take a factory warranty NA 250-270 HP BRZ. (the gt300 EJ makes 300 hp, but doubt we'll see it in a production vehicle with that tune.)

Outlines that STi is using this car to increase general awareness of their aftermarket parts as subaru phases out SPT. Looks like there's a possibility that the JDM tS, or something similar to it, will be released in the US in about 2 years. It's definitely cool to see them making that happen but it also makes me sad as it obsoletes my build lol

Subaru continues to troll us and will announce that the BRZ STI will only come in CVT.

Well, they've definitely succeeded in generating some buzz. But how many of those parts are actually available or going to be available?

Yes, but with an SI-Drive system apparently. Assuming it isn't just concept car fantasy, it'd have to be specifically tuned for the BRZ instead of just carried over from the WRX/STI.
