Otto's Subaru on Richmond. I wasn't too high up the list though. I think I was 5th so I doubt I can help you. Scion has a better grad rebate and they waived the admin/documentation fees so it is quite hard to resist. The price difference between the FRS and BRZ ST becomes very close to $5000 considering taxes and all which just doesn't seem worth it to me. There's a lot you can do with $5000...

I seriously doubt there will be more than 100 dollars a year difference. I'm 22 with one forgiven accident (note to others even when ur sure its the other guys fault don't call in accidents that are less than $1000 also avoid driving in hull unless absolutely necessary and if you have to, assume everyone is blind. Apparently if someone is gets stuck at an intersection popping out a little blocking a cross walk you can drive right into them and its 100% their fault no matter what) and no tickets or anything. Ill let you know what my quote is when I call closer to when my car comes. I'm with the personal.

Sorry about my insurance rant above, but it caused me a lot of stress for a long time haha.

One of my biggest concerns with the FRS was the rear seat headroom. I tested a Genesis 2.0T a month ago and I had to **** my head basically perpendicular to my body to fit back there which was a dealbreaker for me as I have friends who are 6ft tall who I have to drive around often for short distances. I was wondering if when you guys sat in the back seat of the car that went around to dealership if you had to **** your heads back there? According to the specs it has 35.1in rear headroom which is significantly more than the Genesis but I often find those specs misleading. I dont care about legroom much just headroom so any info on your experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks.

When I sat in the back, my head just barely touched the back glass sitting as upright as possible. I'm just over 6 foot and it wasn't uncomfortable, and I didn't have to crane my neck forward to fit. Your friends should be ok.

I'm at Otto's too hahahaha I just wish there would be more info on whats coming. What colour did you pre order?

As far as price yeah, I think it comes down to what everyoen is going to want as far as features and whatnot. DD or weekend/track car.

I preordered WRB. I def want a DD but even so I just don't think the differences are worth the price difference. All I really care about in the BRZ is the climate control (both for convenience and I think they look nicer than the FRS knobs) and LEDs are nice but I really don't like the silver dash trim. I'm going to get a new deck regardless (Clarion Mirage when it comes out or something similar) and the prospect of a TRD supercharger in the near future is nice. Now that I've more-or-less decided on the car though I am second guessing the color. Since the red inserts are now confirmed in Canadian Spec models I am torn between Firestorm, Whiteout, and Raven.

Perfect. Thanks a lot for the info. That is exactly what I was looking to hear.

It looks to be a lot more than that. My broker got me a quote on the twins and the BRZ was $400/yr cheaper!

Question

Does anyone have a recommendation for car audio installation in Ottawa? I'm thinking of getting the Pioneer Avic-X940BT.

Has anyone received their cars, or any additional updates yet?

I picked up the last BRZ ST at Otto's last night, and they told me that they won't be getting any in until August (when I should expect mine). I'm wondering where they get their information from, as it sounds like (in other threads) that they are all in Toronto ready to be shipped out.

Sadly went by mendes. Car release is delayed due to some peperwork issue. No time line given ( very vague ) Broke the cardinal rule of under promise over deliver. Officially Pissed off.

i got word from Tony Graham today that they are expecting to have a demo/test drive car stating tomorrow the 25th. they are currently taking test drive bookings.
i asked if it was an AT or MT, they said MT and dont expect a demo AT for some time if ever
