Whats your FRS armrest and how is it

Really like an armrest for myself...but I cant find one with blue stitching to match my interior. >.> seem like DIY is the only way but still haven't came up with some good ideas.

I'm pretty sure there is a company that sells really nice looking sleeves for the oem armrest that has different colors of stitching.

I think JPM makes a cover that goes over OEM armrest for like 200...

But 400 dollar total really isn't someone in the right mind would pay for an armrest...

I know Redline goods has made a few, anyone interested in a custom cover should contact them.

I tried a temporary centre armrest and ditched the idea at once. I found it restrictive and did not the like the loss of storage space (my cupholders are out too as I put stuff in the reclaimed real estate). No one is permitted to drink or eat in MY car hrrmph !!!!

When I drive I usually have my doorside hand up on the wheel and the other wrist resting on my knee and that hand cradling the wheel. The elbow of my doorside arm is often on the door armrest but that means that hand is a bit too low on the wheel and my elbow gets sore on long trips as the rest lacks enough padding.

I am experimenting with an armrest on the door which raises my elbow about 10cm and with memory foam on top. It is very comfortable and so far I have not found any downside. I am also surprised that no-one else is thinking along the same lines. Comments please before I apply for a patent. (: ()

Someone elsewhere commented "whatever happened to hands at 10 to 2?"

I expected that comment to come up. The latest recommendation is a quarter to three and if you use that you will note that your thumbs are on the thumb rests. That is where I like my doorside hand too and where my prototype door-rest puts it.

My other hand (wrist resting on my knee, hand cradling the wheel) is incorrect, yes, but in practice it usually seems ok as it is already on the wheel rather than on the gear lever or handbrake and I can quickly slip it up higher if busy steering is necessary. Besides, who am I to question the habits of none other than Jeremy Clarkson..... his hand is often down at the base when he's fanging supercars along the straights

That brings up a good point!
Wonder just how many people with premature tranny failures do exactly that?

I love it! yes on the nice and study. and so far it's pretty comfortable.
I have a few buddies that has a 2013 frs/brz and they are all jealous of the
arm rest.. lol =P
