The Aozora/Series.Blue theme is mostly blue and black (or white and black if you have a white one). While no one appreciates the Blue/gold Subaru look more than I, to me the gold, correct shade or not, doesn't match the rest of the car.

IMO, the only rim colour that looks good on the Aoz/S.B is black. Specifically matte black (will match better with skirt kits, fender and front)

The gold looks off enough to make it look bad.

My honest opinion: Will probably look good with the right shade, but right now, even if it's only slightly off, it looks terrible. Just being honest!

It's fine. It was a test and the test tells me I don't mind gold rims. So I can get a separate set of gold (a better shade!)

They don't look bad. Anything is better than the black rims.

I like the gold. I think the photos make it look a little off because it doesn't look that great in the first pic but it looks good in the second.

If you ever decide to go bronze, I scuffed and sprayed mine Rust-oleum Metallic Bronze. My only complaint is the paint is a bit soft and dinged it up when I had alignment plates put on the face of the wheel. Other than that and a couple of chips, it held up pretty well over the last year.

Yeah, I'm not feeling it. Not to be rude, but you did ask what we think, so I'm giving it to you straight.

They look like a shade of swap meet 5K gold. I'm not a fan of the whole plastidip thing, but it's the shade that doesn't work, not the process. It's your car, though, so if you like it that's all that matters.

I went back to black for now. I don't mind honest opinions at all. Just overly douche aren't needed. Thanks for the responses. I just need gold rims instead if I want to go gold.
