Got my car about 2 weeks ago and on the second day I took it for a long trip. On the highway I was doing 80's . Was I supposed to for 1000 miles before I went that fast? What's done is done but just curious.

Supposed to keep the revs below 4000 but not a horrible thing if you went above a bit.
The manual says take it really easy but there is a camp on here that says drive the crap out of it during break in. The reality is probably someplace in between the two extremes.
I wouldn't sweat it though.

Hey there guys. New here! Just got the 2015 FR-S w/ the Borla exhaust option. Love the sound and love how she handles.

I want to get the rear defuser that comes with the TRD edition and get the dual tip out muffler tips.

While you're at it, get that dealership to remove that obnoxious branding

Hi all, I bought my 2014 Firestorm FRS about 2 weeks ago and have already racked up some miles on it . Previously owned a Miata and I can say the transition has been very enjoyable. Lots of plans for this car , just wanted to say hi.

Just picked up my 2015 yesterday, couldn't be happier (unless it was free!)

I'm on the come-back; I went from a G35 coupe to a 2009 Maxima (four doors needed!) to a 2011 Lexus CT200h (no comment) now finally back in a car that is fun to drive. More fun than the G35 (obviously).

The only mods I am considering outside of the usual tint / wrap jobs are the TRD springs and a subtle all-around lip kit.

Getting my 2015 FRS next week. Any advice?

Hello,

It's about 5 years after you posted the first welcome. I get my new FRS MT next week. Suggestions on break in? Suggestions on best using this site?

Thank you!
