Are they though? I read a couple of reviews that poo-poo'ed them.
I was considering a ralliart before I read those reviews and realised it didn't come with a real cog box.

a lot of the complaints about current DSG gearboxes is that they drive poorly at low speed. if you hammer them, they know exactly what to do, but putting around say in heavy traffic or parking lots the ride becomes quite jerky as the car struggles to figure out what gear to be in.

I like its front, looks really aggressive!

Looks awesome but this car is way out of the BRZ/86 league - i'm sure by the time it arrives here it would be priced $70k+ for the 2.0L turbo .

For $40k you would probably get the (rumoured) low spec 1.6L 90kw - so it's pretty much the badge your paying for...

Not bad, considering I'm not a fan of mercs or beemers

The only thing in my opinion BMW has going is the tail light design at the moment. E46 M3 was the last BMW that I looked at and said wow now there's a car. Even the 6 isn't that bad but too rounded. But then again I like the 8 series from 90s and I really wish they evolved it
Well lets see what the i8 looks like if produced

Agreed. Pity most E46's have super high mileages, and are quite pricey =/

OH YEAH! They're animals alright!

like Jeremy Clarkson said from Top Gear

"if I were to compare these two cars to pets, the BMW (M3) would be a cat and the Merc (AMG c63 coupe Black Edition) a Hippo"

I wouldn't quite say the AMG was a hippo? It handled reasonably well in my short drive
Having said that, I wasn’t driving it on the track or anything, so i didn’t get to test it at any limits. Just full throttle :P
