I've been stalking the FRS/BRZ since I first heard about it in 2009. I am a certified car NUT and even at 62 love my FRS. I did not buy one when they first came out due to "practical" reasons and I am an "old" man. In August I was reading one of my car magazines and it showed one of the new Mustangs. I showed it to my wife and smiled. She turned to me and asked, "if you had a car like that would you quit acting and driving like an "old" man. Seems everyone has noticed I've gotten old, except me. Well, I was driving a Ford Fusion Hybrid and the next time I was out, I noticed I looked and drove like an old man. I immediately began looking for an FRS. I went to the local Toyota/Scion dealer and told them I wanted to trade. I hate working a trade with a dealership but had to get out of the Fusion. It only took a few days and they gave me a great deal. They had to find my car since I wanted the Halo white color. They found one and I am now driving it and loving every moment behind the wheel. I never told my wife I was looking so when I took my new baby home, her only comment was, "very nice, now maybe you'll stop being an old man". I've ordered Buddy Club Taillights and am currently installing foglights. I have deleted the sound tube and will soon be ordering my Nameless Axelback exhaust. I deleted the third brake light and added the Mustang third brake light as shown in this forum. If you love to drive and love a beautiful, fun and exciting car, that also gets great gas mileage when needed, the FRS is the way to go. Love my car and love this forum. Max

fragment here. I've owned seven Subaru's, and my wife's owned two. All but two of those have been turbocharged, and all have been modded in some way. I've rebuilt some engines (EJ207, EJ257, EJ205) for various reasons. Currently, the only Subaru's in our house are being used by the kids (2002 Legacy GT and 2003 WRX wagon).
I'm more "mature" now and although I really want a BRZ, I'm just a little put off by the image of Subaru owners being twenty something with some sketchy mods. Not sure I want to invest in a car that will have people asking if I'm driving my kids car. But still... Just to cover my bases, I've just bought a 2014 FA20 with 7000 kms on it. Its sitting on an engine stand in my garage waiting for me to make up my mind... |

Hello, i picked up my 2015 Scion FRS last friday with 23 miles on it. I am very impressed. I love this car. Cant wait to start putting on aftermarket parts. Ive owned a couple 3000gt vr4, as well as a 240sx with an sr20det in it. This car handles really well. I can see myself getting in some trouble with her. I do not regret it one bit. I am in the capital region of Ny. Any other frs enthusiasts out there hmu.

Hey Everyone! My name is Cameron and I've had my FRS since the beginning of 2013. I was a fan of this car when it was still in development and I couldn't wait to get behind the wheel after waiting 3 months from the day I ordered it.
I just took the FRS to my first ever autocross yesterday and had a blast! I made some newbie mistakes (new tires on the front and old ones on the back... long story), but I had a day packed with screeching and sliding while progressively improving my time.... until I spun out... which was awesome. I can't wait until the next round! I've been lurking on this site for a while now and figured it was time to join the conversation. Thanks to everyone for the extensive DIY's, part reviews, discussions, and shared appreciation for these awesome cars! |

Okay.. Time to stop being a lurker.
Hey guys! My name is Fei and it's only been less than 2 months or so since I picked up my '14 FRS whiteout! Learning how to properly drive a manual is still a work in progress... But I'm loving every minute of it!! If you see me around Vancity, give me a quick wave! |

whats going on my fellow FRS/BRZ/GT86 owners.
I am the current owner of a Firestorm red 13 frs. This is the secong Scion i own as well as the third Subaru. Ive been stationed at travis AFB for around a year now and had my Decepticon for around 8 months. I have been waiting for this car since it was talked about. I love this car and hope that i can supercharge it one day. |
