Yup Jeff has been really informative and i'm not even an 86er. I will also be going to Longo May 3rd to see you get your FRS and hopefully get some info on my Car as well eventhough im not a first 86 .

may 3 is next week...the damn car's gonna show up and it'll be a surprise and northridge scion will be like "oh shit they sent us a prototype on accident!!" or "oh this must be the new tC, lets add 5k markup"

Well, I got an e-mail from my dealer...with my VIN! I don't know exactly when it will be delivered, but my salesman told me mi-May, which matches up with Dadhawk & AtlantaRock.

If they mark up a Scion you can lose your Scion sales license. Trust me not worth it. But I will warn everyone to place and order cause waiting lists are no fun at ALL. place an order with me :P

My dealer in Jacksonville, FL, sent me a letter saying my First 86 car will be available on May 20. Odd that it's a bit later than what I'm hearing from you Georgia folk, especially considering my dealer's in the same city as the port. I wonder if my changing colors has anything to do w/ it. Hopefully they're not planning a week of letting the staff hoon it around before handing it over...

Regardless, I'm fine w/ it arriving later, and I'm glad they're giving me a weekend date given that I'll be coming in from out of town.

double check that, i specifically asked one of scion's director folks at the first 86 event and they do not have ANY direct revocation rights for markup. "MSRP is just that, a SUGGESTION, we strongly advise the dealers to go by them, but they are in no way obligated." he did add that he felt there really wouldnt be an issue.

Anyway, I still havent heard and have started to want to just get another vette...

I was told by a Southeast Toyota Rep at Corp HQ on Friday that the VINs weren't going to be assigned until Wednesday, but that the 1st 86 ones were in Jacksonville port. She went off and verified this with someone else while I was on the phone.

Thanks Dadhawk. Any info I can get is appreciated. My VIN ends in 0563, which is actually pretty cool for me. I do wish it ended with something lower than 0087, but didn't expect that.
