Absolutely had to have AWD. It snows so much in the Pacific Northwest.

Love the alcantera. Very satisfied with my last subie and experience with subie dealers. Felt they were more qualified to fix my drive train if it had trouble. They are so much smaller, customer service reflects the fact they still need me. Given the choice, I think the Subaru brand will hold more value.

Yeah, I also despise the look of the scion emblem its not even chrome it just looks so plain. Lol I could go on forever as to why I hate scion but yeah I am not part of the scion demographic.

I was actually looking at the FRS first as well and was totally ready and willing to just swap out for toyota badges so brand wasn't really ever an issue (when it comes to brands i'm generally more loyal to mazda), although i took a test drive in both of them a little over a year ago.
I didn't like the red accents or the solid black of the frs seats. I love the checkered/fake carbon fiber look of the cloth brz seats. As much as i love the gauge needles in the toyota (i still want to swap them out at some point) the black background without the space invaders is just so much cleaner looking and easy to read. The BRZ just feels overall the more mature one. The headlights look much better. If only Toyota brought the GT86's headlights over here...

Mostly aesthetic:
1) Sucker for WRB 2) Front end 3) Interior trim And learned to like the keyless entry/start and heated mirrors. A lot. |

Absolutely hate it when people tell me "Hey, nice Scion". I promptly make sure to correct them, in a polite way of course. An easy mistake for the general public...

Yeah, for some reason I hate it when people say "Hey nice FRS" when my car buddies already know what it is anyways.

I love it when people ask, "Hey, is that the Scion car?" while staring at the Subaru badge.
To stay on topic, I got the BRZ because of the little things that were not available with the FRS when the cars were released. |
