Checked everything this morning and it's all good. Intake box is on tight and all parts are snug.

Do a 3rd or 4th gear pull 2500 to redline.

It was indeed 1st gear. I did a 4th gear pull this morning while leaving the gym. I'll download it after work and see what it looks like. I guess I was just concerned about it only reaching 3psi and so late into the power band. I thought boost was supposed to be higher early on and then taper off as the rpms climb.

By the way I am shipping the old controller and harness out this morning. I will provide you with a tracking number once it's shipped.

Is the aux charger for sale yet? Just got my early fathers day present from the wife($6,000 budget for upgrades on my frs) and I'm itching to spend it.

Here's a log of a 4th gear pull. Looks like max boost is 4.07psi. Does this look about normal?

Are the TQ300's available yet? Any real difference in upper rpm boost? This is really what is keeping me from buying the kit. If this could make 250whp on 93 I think alot more would sell like hot cakes...

No they're not, they are too current hungry with the current setup. The tq250 is actually a better performer at 24v. Hopefully in the future however they will be a practical upgrade

What would be the most effective complimentary mods? (except tuning)
Would something like Crawfords Powerblock help much? (moving the powerband to where this blower is already at its best)

-Header and exhaust mods, Cat Removal
-Intake Mods, Filter, Powerblocks, Tubing etc

I guess we already know the hp limitation on fuel pump and injectors but this Kit really seems to be it when it comes to easy install and removal effective power bump before doing any real engine work and serious changes to our Cars.

The blocks don't do anything for forced induction, shiv has tested them.

Your best addition will be the OpenFlash tablet and e85 if you have it available.

Other popular supporting mods are a panel filter, header and exhaust.

The header and exhaust do a good job of opening up the top end and also smoothing out the curve.

Another addition to the kit is the 1.5 conversion. The 1.5 conversion gives a nice bump in power above 4500 rpm where the standard kit tapers off a bit.

The 300 is still a experiment and a trail and error system. Shiv had one and it would cause to much load on the controller and go into safety mode. That being said he did make 226 on 93 with a dual dump on one dyno run before it shut down.

The 250 is more responsive and spools up quicker due to the lighter wheel in the compressor. The 250 plus battery upgrades and supporting mods is putting us at about 220 on 93 and a estimated 230 to 235 on e85.

It will be a bit before we get to 250hp on 93....that is what most of the entry level full time Fi base kits make and they cost 4 to 6k before installation.

That being said Rob is always interested in evolving the platform but has been extremely busy filling orders on the tq250 system as that is the sweet spot that most people are loving right now. It really is a awesome all around kit. The 300 needs a bigger controller, dual dump and a aux charger.

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

At Buttonwillow - 97 degrees out - happy to report that the ESC just survived a full 20 minute (correction: 25 minute!) session! It was in 26.6 mode early on but kept feeding me power the whole session! And DAMN was it fun!! =)

With the ESC tune, I don't have fuel cut off until between 7500 and 7600 rpm.

If you look at the stage 1 Innovative SC kit (owner's thread), the Phantom TQ250 ESC bests it in torque and matches it in HP. Traditional FI needs 8-9lbs of boost to match the non-parasitic 4.5 boost of an ESC. Still, those kits will never match the simplicity, reliability and price of the ESC. The Phantom ESC is roughly $2-3k less if installation labor is factored in. Chasing 250 HP would only be worthwhile if it maintains the other advantages of the kit. Satisfaction is written first person in the words of those who either own or have rode in a Phantom ESC equipped '86. Sales are strong. Rob is expanding to Miata (via Shiv and Vishnu). Its a tightly focused product that as many have said is worth every penny. Try to get a ride in a local vehicle if you can, then see if 250 hp should be the factor holding you back.

Agreed, everyone that had ridden in my car is blown away at the simplicity, price and power that this kit has. Just buy it don't look back, you will not be unsatisfied,i wasn't.

Btw; 6000+post. OMG
