are you running a flex fuel tune or straight e85?

i wouldn't worry about drivability. I had 0 cold start issues this past winter.

I'm 20 miles from E85 but it's always a question of should I or shouldn't I? I love this kit on e85, just a matter if I have time to go get it. I don't run flex fuel so I run it very close to empty and switch maps.

what kind of power difference are you getting between e85 and (91?) maps? and what about mpg? im getting about 25 on 91 right now.

I only run 93 and E85. I'd say you lose about 2-3mpg on E85. Power is probably 20 more hp but its everywhere so down low it just feels like a lot stronger of a car.

you got me pretty excited! even after the innovate kit ive been a bit disappointed with the low end. i think e85, 70mm pulley and a header will get me where i want to be. im thinking the perrin 3" as well to make the ol' girl whine a bit louder.

Honestly on 91 it feels like 5whp more! 91 really really sucks but than with e85 more like 250whp ..but the best part atleast for me is just how much torque it has down low it just moves no matter what gear ur on ...it's super smooth.. it just takes off on e85 but I do just average 15mpg...

How "close to empty" do you run it? 8th tank? Light comes on? Oh shit I hope I make it? Lol. I can't wait to get my E85 map but the closest station to me is about 40 miles away. It's just down the road a ways from my brother's house and I'm over that way just about every weekend but want a rough idea of what's "safe" to fill up with.

Also, for anyone who might care, I love this kit with the 4.56 gearing I put in. Acceleration is great in any gear at just about any RPM. It pulls hard all the way through 5th gear and still pulls decent through 6th. I know personally I don't care if I ever hit anything even close to 150mph and stock gearing should get past that. I think the fastest I've hit with this kit so far is a hair over 130mph and that was more than enough for me but opinions will vary. For people who use this car as a daily driver, you'll never really need anything more than the top of 4th gear in any given circumstance. After that it's just excessive. I guess for a fair comparison I'd have to do a side by side pull with someone with a similar setup with stock gearing. But I know one of my concerns with doing the gearing before going FI was would it be "too short" given the extra power. That is not the case. In my honest opinion, it's perfect for the this kit and this level of power.

Definitely until the light comes on, i used go 20-30 miles past the light before i installed my flexfuel kit.
