Nope. Here's the definition:

“smart stop” tech is essentially a brake override system that automatically reduces engine power when a vehicle’s brake and accelerator pedals are applied simultaneously under certain driving conditions.

I foresee a possible issue in a manual car - if you are trying to blip the throttle during a heel/toe downshift might this not interfere with the blipping by cutting engine revs? Maybe it's not an issue as no reviewer has complained of it so far...

Sorry, no gauge sweep on the FR-S, it's BRZ only - that was reported by someone from first-hand testing.

Yes, blip for auto (wish they had the manual-tranny version of this a la 370Z as well). As to disabling the SST: I very much doubt it.

Both actually - the 370Z has an optional feature you can get for the manual tranny which automatically blips the throttle for you on downshifts (you can turn it off if you want to manually heel/toe).

As to whether the SST interferes with heel/toe on the manual FR-S - unclear but given its focus as a driver's car I doubt very much they would let that happen.

I don't think anyone is really sure at this point but I thought Bespoke was going to be optional.

i ordered directly from toyota [thru a friend], but he just informed me that the order is not going thru until 4/15... until then it's just an "open order"... he also informed me that the option/accessory list will be updated by then...

i'm planning on just adding the fog lamps... he also gets 30% off trd parts, so maybe the duckbill spoiler while i'm at it, but i doubt those [trd parts] are going to be on there...

Really thinking of getting that spoiler as well as the fog lamps. I'm hoping the dealer let's me know how much it'll be soon so I can figure out how bad I want them. The lamps are mandatory but the spoiler I could live without... I'd just like to have it on there.

yea, i'm almost positive i'll get the fogs, but the spoiler is most likely going to be more than i'd like to pay, so i'll probably skip it for now... and i'm sure there will be a replica of it in a couple years...

Yeah the BRZ has Nav but does it have the same 300 watt sound system?
