Hi, new to this forum. Just took delivery of my new 86 GTS. Can't stay long as I need to go and look at it again. Wow what a cool looking car indeed. Pegasus White with the darkest window tint allowed. Absolutely lovely.

CONGRATULATIONS, Philbrew ..... and .... ..... to The Forum.

Yep, they need "checked" every now & then when they are new ..... after about 2 months, they will be able to make it through the night without being checked......

Unfortunate news, all. My Monogram got hammered by the hail storms during delivery and is now totaled. Fortunately, they were able to find me another and are getting it delivered soon. Getting a little fed-up with the waiting game, though.

Hello, another forum newb here. Currently driving a '99 Miata that's been modified a bit (Tein lowering springs, Koni shocks, 15 X 7 RPF1s on Falken Azenis, Hard Dog roll bar):

Before the Miata, there was this:

Looking for a fun-to-drive car, with handling being more important than power. Also looking for something a tad more comfortable (and quieter) than the Miata for a daily driver / commuter / occasional autocrosser.

Which brings me here. I want to know more about The Twins, because they seem to pretty much fit the bill. From what I've learned so far I think I'd prefer the FR-S over the BRZ. The only problem with the FR-S is those initials. In my weird family, "FRS" stood for something else...

You thinking about getting one? You mean Freakin Ridiculously Stock. lol. You can debadge the fr-s if you don't want it on your car.

I'm not one for doing a lot of modifications (factory engineers tend to know what they're doing, or have reasons for their compromises), but I'm already thinking about fitting a set of Enkei RPF-1s (or a similarly light set of wheels) and some stickier rubber. And maybe one of these:
