I have a lead on a pair of OE front struts to gut for my koni's! Once that is settled and I acquire a few specialty tools, it will be time to Frankenstein up some shocks a la this DIY:

In hindsight, I think they would look better with closed lugs instead of the open lugs, but I am sure someone will buy these when I swap them out.
