I got mine last Thursday night.
After driving to pick up the check and then dropping it at the dealer on Friday morning, I spent the better part of an hour removing the clutch return spring: ![]() And Suddenly I could drive standard shift properly again. Saturday morning, I took this shot with my GF's nearly identical twin: ![]() Then, this morning, I took some bolts out: ![]() And put in some slightly longer ones:

@Slysdexia do you find the removal of the spring to be a preferential change or a universally positive change? Just curious as I know it's difficult to reverse, Wondering if I should do it. Thanks!

If you have no trouble with the stock setup and/or have never driven and never plan on driving another standard shift car, leaving it will be fine. I personally see it as a universally positive change. The clutch is fantastic once the spring is gone, and makes my driving experience that much more enjoyable. Plus, since there's no more guesswork about feeling the bite point, I'd imagine that it may help prevent undue clutch wear in the long term. Sent from my PO-T4T0 with Eyes.

Try to sway it with someone. I know some BRZ owner like FR-S insert better.
