Is #3 uncommon for a Subaru? That's pretty common on every other car I've owned (exception of water pumps in some cases which I don't mind being on the timing belt/chain).

For #4, it really looks like they are in the seats based on the owners manual.

One thing I've learned about debating is that you must pick a side and stick to it. You seem to be playing both sides.

You can't post something like "tuner car ... not really" and then say "tuners delight" and expect people to not pick apart exactly what you said.

You put it in writing after all! It's kinda obvious to see what you said. I just pointed it out to you.

Am I the only one confused why someone into big HP high value factory FI cars would even look at an FRS/BRZ? Seems like if you got the money to own either of those 2 (GTR/Supra), and MODIFY them, you wouldnt even look at something like this.

Probably not the only one. Think about it this way... If you've got plenty of comfortable dress shoes, why buy a pair of sneakers?

Different purpose, different feel, different experience.

i'm glad i'm not the only one on this forum who can see this guy's bull crap for what it is. here's another example of a great tuner car that doesn't fit this guy's definition, the s2000. the s2000, at 240hp and slightly higher curb weight than the FRS has a better power to weight ratio, BUT at $33k new, you got less power to weight per dollar than you do with the FRS. it is also N/A, small like the FRS, and has a very high comp ratio.

but i dare you to go on the s2ki forum and tell them it's not a tuners car. it's highly celebrated as a tuner's car, great for n/a tuning and boost. it's a regular performer at tuner car time attack events.

by the way this is all assuming that the FRS is even 25k, we still don't even know the official US msrp.

edit: he also claimed that the FA20's internals were weak. how would we even know that?

We convert the FRS into AWD. We'll have a baby GT-R, haha.
I do have a spare 4b11t with the evo x mr awd trans sitting in my garage. I could make that my new project
