Bill correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you stated earlier on that the perrin CAI creates a lot of turbulent air right? If that's the case then the airaid box is probably the better route for overall throttle response and flow?

Currently I do have the Airaid Box on the vehicle (that is it besides the supercharger) and it definitely has the effect of making everything more responsive including the surging. So dialing in the tune for the AirAid has it's benefits. But I will install the OEM box back on for final verification.

Also working on the cold start as I do get about a 1-2 second sputter on start ups, well use to. With some slight adjustments it seems to be improving this considerably. So getting close to an update release. With the main focus on low RPM drivability and no change in power.

Also as another update the AirAid box can literally be bolted right on, with no tuning needed on these tunes. It is definitely a great system, and not sure why it got so much bad press early on, as I have yet to experience any problems on three different boxes I have tried on our development vehicle. (We wanted to make sure there wasn't some fluke good one)

Lastly, we are working on MPG on partial throttle to see if we can improve the overall MPG. And I have made some decent improvements in this arena also. Be on the lookout.

Cheers,
William Knose
How up to date are the dyno's and improvement figures on your site? Have you made any significant improvement, with this kit, since those were posted.

Depends. But I would say they all need an update. Some are still fairly close, but some need updating. I will see about getting some updated dyno charts. The power and torque levels and curves are similar, though I think the torque down really low is up now.

Cheers,
William Knose

Is my Dyno still the top dog?
Have you been working on the idle rpm improvement while AC is on?

Yes sir. Though it might be surpassed by mine very soon.

I am hoping to reach about 330whp on a dynojet with E85, with the few upgrades from Innovate coming. I think I will be pretty happy with it at that point.

Cheers,
William Knose

210+ Supercharger upgrade, AirAid Intake, 69mm Pulley and E85. Still stock exhaust system though, as I like the quiet sound.

If you're not under a contract not to speak of the kit, do you think any gains could be made using the 210+ kit with 91 octane?

When I called Innovate to talk to them about the 210+ or the 335, the snotty guy on the other line just kept saying "We're not looking at anything else other than what we have for sale." That left a bad taste in my mouth tbh. Who are you dealing with?

yes. The car idles, irregularly for about 15 seconds on a cold startup. Missing.

Hi Bill,
How much more power or airflow have you got from the air raid?
You may need to send me one with the map sensor.
Looking forward to the update

Now I am curious as to what is up your sleeve. I look forward to seeing what you can achieve with this kit and the new updated systems by Sprintex/Innovate coming out.

Cheers,

William Knose

I've been thinking about going back to the stock exhaust for awhile so I'm glad to hear this. I'm stuck with 91 octane though. Curious to see how it sounds. The blower, Airaid and Borla UEL header should still make a good noise.
