You can run E85 on a "stock" car ie no headers by using the E85 stage 2 tune for EL or UEL headers there is a thread here on this. see thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56452 Just run your tank down till low fuel light on, fill with E85 . Drive moderately Use the Diag mode of OFT to monitor fuel trims once you see the fuel trims rise (will only take a kM or two) petrol now out of system pull over and flash E85 tune. Drive moderately untill fuel trims stabalise below 10% (mabe 5-10km) and your done. I have also just pulled over in the station car park and idled for a couple of minutes then flashed and drive moderately (no wide open throttle) till fuel trims stabilize on new fuel might take 10km or so. Repeat going back the other way just monitor fuel trims and don't drive hard till STFT and LTFT stabilize below 10% |

All you have to do is run your gas tank down before you fill up with e85. Then reflash your car with the e85 map. Super simple. I just waited until it got to E and filled up, Shiv mentioned the ECU compensates for small changes in ethanol ratings.

Agreed. I just ordered OFT + OFH combo and gaskets. Thanks for this thread. I was already thinking about pulling the trigger but this was the final read that pushed me to it.
